About Our Lab Services

Our lab is classified as an outpatient Physician Office Laboratory, performing Moderately Complex tests. Both the East Side and Western Avenue offices perform strep screening, urinalysis, and pregnancy testing and draw blood. 

We perform the most common blood tests, such as a CBC (Complete Blood Count), in our Western Avenue facility. We can analyze for cholesterol (both the "good" HDL, and the "bad" LDL), glucose ("sugar"), electrolytes, liver function, PSA, thyroid function, and monitor patients with diabetes. We can also perform an "INR" to monitor the effect of coumadin on the clotting system. We are accredited by the Commission of Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) and participate in the American Academy of Family Physicians proficiency testing program. Our lab undergoes an in-depth inspection by COLA at regular intervals.

Laboratory hours are 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

We check our email during regular office hours.  We encourage you to use our email to check the status of insurance claims we submit, or to notify us if you have added secondary insurance coverage.  Please use it for general office correspondence, but not for scheduling appointments or medical concerns.
